Google TV YouTube app updated for better recommendations, search and sharing
It only makes sense that the Google TV initiative to increase personalization would extend to videos served up from its YouTube site, and now the official app has been updated to do just that. The new version brings recommendations meant to pull gems you might like out of the ever growing pile of content available, as well as a way to search between the new YouTube channels on your TV. Also users should notice improved video quality since the app will automatically try to play content at the best available resolution from the start, and if they find something interesting, it now supports +1 sharing to Google+. The new app is already live on Google Play, compatible devices should be pointed that way for the new experience.

NVIDIA unleashes GeForce GTX 690 graphics card, loads it with dual Kepler GPUs, charges $1k
Would you look at that? NVIDIA hinted it would be coming today, and it looks like the tease is living up to the hype. The company stormed into the weekend at its Shanghai Game Festival by unleashing its latest offering, the GeForce GTX 690 -- and oh yeah, it's packing two 28nm Kepler GPUs! Trumping the recently released GTX 680 as the "worlds fastest graphics card," it's loaded with a whopping 3,072 Cuda cores. The outer frame is made from trivalent chromium-plated aluminum, while you'll find thixomolded magnesium alloy around the fan for vibration reduction and added cooling. Aiding in cooling even further, the unit also sports a dual vapor chamber and center-mounted fan. It'll cost you a spendy $1,000 to pick up one of these puppies come May 3rd, and you'll likely be tempted to double up -- two can run together in SLI as an effective quad-core card. With that said, NVIDIA claims that a single 690 runs 4dB quieter and handles about twice the framerate as a duo of GTX 680s in SLI -- impressive, but we'll reserve judgement until we see it for ourselves. Mila Kunis Labels Ashton Kutcher Dating Rumor "Absurd"
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis spent all of last weekend together on a getaway. An insider says the actor has always thought of his former That 70s Show co-star s a "goddess." They are both EXTREMELY good looking.
But Kunis and Kutcher as a couple?!? Please, the actress says.
Kunis responded to the rumors that she's dating Kutcher by telling Extra, during a stop in Las Vegas yesterday for CineCon to promote her role in the upcoming Oz: Great and Powerful, that the possibility is "absurd."
Yes, the two have been hanging out - but Mila has a simple explanation for the time they spend together: "A friend is a friend," she told the entertainment news show.
Still, a different source says otherwise.
"They're both single, having fun," a mole tells People. "There's nothing serious going on – just friends having fun."
Translation: uglies are being bumped. Darn you, Ashton. But at least we can stare at these Mila Kunis photos for awhile.

Wiz Khalifa: Arrested For Marijuana Possession
Rapper Wiz Khalifa tried and failed to hide a bag of weed in his room at a Holiday Inn in Nashville, Tenn., according to police officials who arrested him.
According to a police report, Metro Nashville Police responded to Wiz's room on April 21 after someone complained about "a strong odor of marijuana."
When the officers arrived to the scene, Wiz (real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz) allegedly tossed a "marijuana cigarette" out of the window. Clever move!
Cops say they recovered the item tossed by the rapper, and that "inside the rolling paper was a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana."
According to the report, Wiz (seen above with fiancee Amber Rose) admitted the joint was his and said he had 3.7 grams of weed in his pocket.
Khalifa is typically very open about his marijuana use - not sure how he didn't make our 4/20 celebrity stoner tribute - and was hit with a citation.
No word if the rapper smoked more after the police left, but if he did, he probably made sure to turn the fan on at least. Small victories, cops.
